The Story
As children, we reach for color without thinking. Every drawing is bright and every outfit is a decision. Somewhere along the way that fades. It happens literally, in what we wear and what we surround ourselves with. It also happens quietly, in the hope we carry, which experience wears down a little at a time.
It looks different for everyone. For some people the world stays vivid, for some it dims, and for some it goes grey altogether.
Ruqy began as a way of bringing color back. It brought together two things I had set aside: a lifelong love of gemstones and a childhood habit of drawing and painting. Ruqy is where they met, and served as a reminder to rediscover ones passion.

Every Ruqy design starts on paper. Some begin with a feeling or a reference that can be named. Others are pure imagination, with no explanation behind them. A specialist jewelry workshop brings it to life, and several quality checks are done before it is shipped to the customer.
